Pros

Lots of opportunity to learn and advance.

Cons

They run their teams super lean, and assign projects to whoever is available whether they are qualified or not. You will be underpaid and overworked.

Pros

Good client opportunities Good resources for training Passionate about inclusion and diversity

Cons

Low pay compared to other consultancies. Shocking how low the more junior staff are paid when promoted compared to other companies who promote people. Can take 2-3 years on average to get a promotion for an extra 4 grand a year. When you break down the extra hours we spend after 5:30 workingm we are paid pretty poorly. We are expected to do non client work e.g internal initiatives which can take a good few hours a week which end up being done after work hours due to demanding client work. We do not get paid or rewarded for this. We are told this will help our promotion cases but in truth people have done really good jobs with these initiatives and not been rewarded. They promote work/life balance but no one really sees it.

Pros

- timely payment of salary - remote work possibilty - Microsoft products & certifications - actually a good place if you want to apply your MS technology developer skillset, as business/project consultant rather look elsewhere

Cons

- if have you ambitions, superiors will try to divert you from your goals and slow down your progress in the company to keep margins high - biased promotion process - no innovation engagements - it is quite likely that you re not going to work on topics you were hired for - Cross department (e.g. Advisory vs. Delivery) & cross company (with Accenture) fights over engagements and project staffings in order to meet chargeability targets - complex matrix organization exhausts people since they got to work with internal department, projects, Accenture and Microsoft - virtually unknown company, likely to be completely absorbed by Accenture and branded over as Accenture Microsoft Business Group - Main business driver is the still ongoing shift to modern workplace and O365 cloud, once those engagements dry up, the company is going to struggle to acquire other sustainable sources of income - advisory services struggle for signifcance - unqualified management overhead (stems from bad hiring and retention practices)
