This disrupts specialization and creates job insecurity, with little support in finding the right fit. Managers often push you to take any available role, even if unrelated to your specialization, or just suggest more certifications. This lack of alignment doesn’t help build a strong foundation in your core area, leading to job insecurity and stalled growth during prolonged bench periods.
