      Nice pay that about all the good I have to say

      Cons

      Bad leadership. No project mentoring at all. I was thrown into a project that was not in my skill set at all. Basically was told to sink or swim.

      Pros

      Avanade is a good place to learn Microsoft technologies. If you are lucky enough to get on a good project, the work is interesting.

      Cons

      If you don't get a good project, you are basically a contractor stuck out on your own at a customer site. The leadership team has no idea what they are trying to do or how to do it. All they know is that they want to grow. Strategy for this growth is missing throughout the leadership ranks.

      Pros

      Good salary compared to other company in Vancouver. a lot of training opportunity although you don't have time to take. Very good chance to build your connection with client.

      Cons

      Salary is getting lower for new hire. difficult to get promote. not many exciting direct opportunities. They pay more attention on east coast than west.
