Working hard is not enough for promotion, you need make good rapport and a little bit of luck.

Pay initially, and perks. not a lot else!

Cons

Had vile Manager even though I was a manager. worked for over 5 years - no promotion; constantly changing KRAs - basically a set up to fail culture. He stayed I left with a years salary to keep my mouth shut. My manager would ignore me if I went in earlier than him. and basically set about to destroy my career. I had a breakdown because of him!
