      Pros

      The BAT culture encourages friendships that last a lifetime. It is like an institute that teaches you corporate behavior and polishes you to become the best you can be. The external environment encourages innovation and out of the box thinking.

      Cons

      The regulatory environment is not tobacco friendly which does inhibit the exhibition of all marketing talents such as tv commercials or event sponsorships but that only makes its employees use all the available resources to the fullest.

      Pros

      A British company with British culture. Family oriented and caring. Presence in over 180 countries. Headquartered in London. Best in class in Trade Marketing & Distribution

      Cons

      Extremely hierarchical due to a layered structure. Very bureaucratic. Process driven. Despite being a consumer good company, Marketing is subservient to all other support functions like Supply Chain (especially Procurement), Legal and CORA. Very slow career progress. Despite being a global company, has very few global brands.
