Pros

There are a lot of great reasons to work at SWC - Variety of technologies and roles - Do not have to be at a certain level to be put in any role on a project - Career direction controlled by each consultant - Hire within the team at all costs - Bring in good people at the right times - Tons of perks including food, beer on Friday, company wide events, and team events

Cons

There are the obvious cons you see on the other reviews like no 401k match, do not have an opportunity to work from home or from downtown office but the good outweighs the bad

Pros

Large firm with strong processes in place, most staff are friendly and there was plenty of training available.

Cons

Within 4 months of starting, having left a secure job, BDO went through a restructure which saw the vast majority of marketing professionals at risk of redundancy.

Pros

- Large accounting firm experience but outside Big 4 - Great if on training programme as lots of support given and time off for college

Cons

- Referred to as a "resource" not made to feel like individual worth - Under resourced therefore holiday nearly impossible to take. Can't take time off at month end (first and last weeks of month) then also not possible during the rest of the month really due to payment runs and payroll
