Hybrid working, free posh coffee, subsidised lunch

Cons

Now they take attendance like in uni , no trust between coworker / just another way to push employee resign for cost cutting. However market is not good and not many people may pay attention to BDO experience , employee also has nowhere to go. Culture is bad, FS audit head left (when a senior partner left and still work in another audit firm then you know how it goes).. while a lot of toxic people (got lucky not being promoted) they then move to big 10 to try again. Overall did not see many people left BDO uk moved to very nice opportunity , mainly still audit unfortunately

Give you some exposure to deal advisory work and transactions. Working with young people might be fun.

Cons

Unkind culture created at the top. Management and managers are hostile. Stark difference in how staff are treated within the team due to favoritism, In general, the experience was nothing but traumatic and taught me about workplace politics. Not to mention the compensation is greatly below market rate
