- Partners to not know how to audit. Every test is an inefficient test of details.
- Very office-centric type engagement economics. There is no visibility to other offices in the South Florida area.
- No room to grow. For example, there has been no partner promotion in over 10 years, and they a good amount of seniors who should be manager, and are not.
- Leadership only looks out for themselves, and has no plans on growing the practice.
- They do not grow organically, only through acquisitions. The recent acquisition was handled poorly, as seen through the resignations from the acquired firm.
- National office looks down on the South Florida practice, as the partners clearly do not stay up to date with the latest auditing/accounting literature.
- Partners would rather over test than perform an educated audit test that can show efficiencies and effectiveness in achieving the audit objective.
- Partners are critical about everyone else, except their own performance. They take no accountability.
