Pros

I have worked at a big 4 firm prior to joining BDO, and was impressed with their WLB upon joining.

Cons

After the PC announcement and the ESOP deal it just seems like the firm is heavily declining and focusing more and more on grinding down their current employee base. There is always a focus on doing more, and whatnot but it is getting nauseating with the implementation of project management tools (that waste time and contribute nothing). Don't feel part of a small office anymore, just feels like I am a harder worked means to an end.

Working remote Travel can be fun

Cons

Slowly taking away the benefits of the job. Meals, travel, trainings, etc. No work life balance. No slow season anymore. Expected to work 40+ hours a week even during slow season Always rushed to get work done, not get done correctly. Reminds me of Boeing! The work doesn't matter as long as the final deliverable is complete and the client is happy. Flawed!
