      Young employees don't have room for growth with micromanaging strategies employed by middle management

      Pros

      Good work-life balance. Staff in head office and other APAC offices are nice. Some good leaders at ExCo level. Depending on the function, there can be some good exposure to different areas.

      Cons

      Excessive micromanagement from line managers, needing approval to send every last email. Even if you hold a professional qualification (CPA, legal qualifications), you will probably be relegated to the most mundane administrative tasks. Juniors are generally paid under market rate for the role. In the local office, the work culture is toxic and it's common to see managers screaming at their staff.

      Pros

      Risk management is well regarded by the business, the risk department has got plenty of smart people. Friendly and constructive setting overall.

      Cons

      Low visibility on the career perspectives, especially since employees don't get titles (analyst, associate,VP, etc). Management does not get renewed often.

      - hard to find, maybe average benefits - industry standard

      Cons

      - very poor atmosphere - no systems, everything done on excel as it's for free - huge amounts of overtime - no recognition - no goals and prospects of career
