      Pros

      BRP makes exciting products and strives to run the overall company very well. With a global footprint and good growth prospects, employment entails quite a number of challenges that usually only much bigger companies would encounter. There is a lot of variety and chance to do different jobs.

      Cons

      It is up to the employee to forge a path for growth. This means that you need to determine your path and work with your manager to make it a reality; other companies have more set paths and development activities.

      Pros

      Professional environment in which everyone was generally treated well an fairly - which created a positive and upbeat environment in which to work. Generally, upper and middle management were very good at supporting the efforts of those at the staff level. It was there that I reported to the best boss of my life (and I've been blessed with really great bosses!).

      Cons

      The US division is managed by the Canadian corporate HQ, so it often felt like a family company in which the Candidan members received preferential treatment. The company's ability to face and deal with change was sporadic - sometimes good and sometimes atrocious.
