Pros

-100% remote job -WIll facilitate most tools you need for your job

Cons

-Shady negotiation tactics: If you are a candidate in the process or a consultant already working with an end client, ask for more money $$. They LOVE to lowball offers for the people working while charging as much as possible to the end-clients. -Shady performance measurement tactics: My performance was great. Id even say top within my team (was getting a lot more done in the same time vs my co workers). I was placed on a PIP for a bull reason... of course I made it out of the PIP (reached my goals) only to end up being terminated a couple of weeks later. -Employees are only resources. HR AND Management WILL lie to you to take advantage of their needs. I (and other former employees) were told on multiple occasions that my/our performance was great, and suddenly one morning I was required to a meeting with my lead to be terminated. -They install a lot of invasive software that tracks: time, "performance", mouse movement/mouse clicks, websites you access, takes video and/or screenshot, etc.

Pros

salary (but they will take more than 50% of the real salary)

Cons

I was contracted to develop a project ok. But somehow the client discoverd they were paying 1/3 of what they were paying for the employees. This happens because Latin Americans earn less than an American company, so they try to get from the Client company (a US client for example) U$ 90 per hour, but they pay about U$ 30 for the BairesDev Employee The Client quit the contract, and imagine what they have done to the employees? They just fired the employees Isn't this a bad thing in your opinion??? If you want to be contracted by this company as a full employee, be aware that you can be fired in ANY MOMENT Other things, they got money from the client to pay the holidays for the Bairesdev employees, but in reality they just be with the money! They say the client want you to work 9 hours, DO YOU BELIEVE THAT? So I believed, but the client didn't want, so they kinda force you to work 9hours. Nowhere in the world forces you to work 9 hours, this is unbeliavible. Deal with them as a freelance agency.

Pros

Working from hone/Earning in USD

Cons

Bad working environment, every interview was monitored and scripted, we were forced (by taking part of our salaries) to not tell the truth about medical coverage to developers living in the US. The interview provess was made for the future employee to acept the offer before receiving the real offer, once the offer was accepted, the working contract presented different benefits. Working environment was toxic, not because of colleagues but because of managers since they had to pressure the recruiters to a certain level in order to keep their own jobs as managers, the possibility of being fired was present all the time as a way of 'threat' if you didn't outperform your colleagues and surpassing the benchmarks was mandatory. This is a 'temporary'job, it takes a toll on your mental health, lying to candidates who had families, children, and medical conditions affectd recruiters mental health as persons and as professionals.
