The client can be a problem. In my case, the client doesn't have any clue of maturity to handle third party teams. Baires can promise and not fulfill some things, such as promotions and raises. The hiring process is terrible, they have some weird positions such as twillio developer. Some colleagues can be terrible as well, I had to work for three because in my first team the tech lead, the devs and the QA engineer are really ineffective.

- You should accept that BairesDev needs to make their money as an intermediate between you and the client company, so you'll never earn as an American senior software engineer working in BairesDev, but you still can work as a senior engineer at some point. - They'll only give you a significant increase in case you have good offers from other companies, so never be lazy in taking other interviews while working in BairesDev!
