      Many opportunities in the US due to expansion plans.

      Pros

      Growing opportunities in the US since it's a relatively new and small player in the US.

      Cons

      With the acquisition of Lehman,it's expense base has gotten much larger. Some of its manual process is not conducive to the growing firm.

      good brand, some good people in front office

      Cons

      incompetent middle management, the majority of whom are dangerously underqualified to work in any position of authority within banking inadequate processes for almost everything blame culture - managers will not take responsibility for anything, backstabbing, always pass the buck to someone else politics are machiavelian - performance reviews in particular I could go on and on - i completely agree with previous review - the worst place I have ever worked

      good place to work, very high salary, above industry package that is really tempting to grab once an offer is given to you

      i see a bit of politics here and there. i also see that the appraisal system is not very efficient
