Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us and we’re sorry to see you didn’t enjoy your experience with BearingPoint. We appreciate your input and take all feedback seriously. We have an open door/open call policy and strongly encourage employees to raise any issues with their manager or HR as they emerge so they can be resolved as a priority. In terms of pay, we benchmark our salaries annually against consulting and industry best practice so that we know our salaries and benefits are at the market rate. We are committed to fair and equitable remuneration for all our employees. Again, we encourage anyone who has questions about their salary to speak with their Service Line Lead, Development Manager/ Partner, or HR to review the situation. Regarding our office culture, creating a positive and inclusive work environment is a top priority for us. We conduct regular and consistent surveys with our people, and over the last number of years we have seen the satisfaction score and feedback in our staff surveys go from strength to strength each year. In particular, the feedback from exit interviews is very positive and specifically in relation to our culture. We appreciate your feedback. While we understand that individual experiences may vary, we are committed to fostering a positive workplace for all.

Pros

Many good people who I enjoyed working with.

Cons

I got on the wrong side of my hiring manager within three weeks of joining. It was an uphill battle from then on and easily the most toxic working relationship I have ever endured. This senior manager exhibited aggressive, domineering behaviour and foul language. I was constantly made to feel inadequate. Any accomplishments were waved away, any errors were highlighted again and again to the point where my confidence had been completely eroded. The day I was let go was upsetting but I will never forget the wave of relief that washed over me knowing I would never have to see or speak to this abusive person again.

Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry to hear of the working experience you had with us. We do not accept this type of behaviour from anyone in the company, it goes against our workplace policies and it is not in keeping with our culture. It also doesn’t reflect the feedback we receive from staff through staff surveys, 360 feedback etc. It is a shame you didn’t escalate this matter to HR, a partner or other manager in the company at the time, as the issue would have been swiftly dealt with and the situation would not have got to the point as you describe below. Thank you for your feedback, it is good to hear you enjoyed working with colleagues and again, we are sorry to hear of the experience you had with your manager.
