Pros

If you like to travel here you get plenty, if you are lucky you can work on interesting projects, possibility of getting certifications and develop your career.

Cons

The "Consultant" title is overused for all roles and all levels and sometimes this change people own perception, acting selfish and rude. Management rarely listens to employees' opinion, even after understanding and discussing the arguments. Undervalued employees usually have a higher priority when promoting.

You refer to a different company, namely BearingPoint Inc. Our company, BearingPoint headquartered in Europe, has been a separate legal entity and conducted a management buyout in 2009. Our development since then is very positive. See our Annual Report: https://www.bearingpoint.com/en-ie/about-us/annual-report/
