Pros

Great people and great culture. Work life balance is highly regarded at BearingPoint - we are not expected to work late unless absolutely required. Salary is above average and promotion and pay increment is purely based on merit.

Cons

Just like any large firm, red tape and politics exist but wouldn't consider it an issue to the daily job. Career growth is great if you are doing what BE wants to do - not much chance to branch out and develop your own interest.

Pros

Although the pace and satisfaction of the work performed is highly dependent on both the individual client and the management structure that the on-site consultants work under, the environment is conducive to communication and potential for advancement. Personnel are also accorded a fair amount of autonomy, based on their seniority and role, especially when both conditions and ability warrant it.

Cons

The on-going financial and corporate instability and uncertainty surrounding it, along with the lack of communication from the very senior members of the communication have impacted both morale and people's understanding of their future.
