Pros

Bearingpoint seems to pay well in comparison to the industry and you can live in many locations and still work for them. You can move up fast within the company if you are willing to put in the extra hours. BearingPoint's consultants are well respected in the industry because they are experienced and professional.

Cons

Management can be very misleading with how they communicate company info. They company is having trouble with it's stock price and has had to have layoffs recently. Professional growth opportunities are very limited, if you are good at one thing, you are often forced to continue to do that and not encouraged to develop new skills.

Pros

- Want to start out in consulting - want to work long hours - do not want a promotion or a bonus - like getting kicked around by managers - want to develop a thick skin working in consulting

Cons

- lack of career growth without sucking up to your bosses - pure perfomance does not pay - no visibility into how raises / promotions happen. - lot of favoritism in FS

Pros

Good entry-level position. They are open to hiring college grads, which is alway nice to help break into the market. Lower level PM's have a lot of control so your work experience will be based on your manager. Mine was good. Be prepared to work off-site and be involved with clients. Responsibility will be given, if you so initiative.

Cons

No tangible work products means unfulfilling work, and often needing to 'look busy' since no work. In the DC area you will be working with the government, most likely, which can be very challenging. A bit stingy on raises in between promotions.
