Pros

in the current state of the company (stock below 1$), no reason to stay here at all. It used to be a great place couple of years ago, and still might be in some pockets within PS, but on the whole, this firms never been in a worse situation. Only reason to work might be relative work-life balance if you get into PS and get staffed on a long-term maintanance gig with no pressures. The attempts at improving training through the Yale program etc might be a lure to some.

Cons

No real consulting per-se, more of tier-2/3 fed body shopper. No consistent promotion guidelines cause some to get promoted whilst others rot, bad pay/bonuses. Senior Management are at time totally incompetent (senior managers who cannot write a proposal if their life depended on it), while at other times are so hard drivers that you get burnt out and told "you are not meant to be manager" if you want some work life balance.

Pros

Interesting projects and the ability to make a difference for the client. It is also a place where there is ample opportunity to advance in the organization if you are smart and work hard (and by the evidence, even if you're not that smart).

Cons

You will work long hours and weekends to move up in the organization. The higher you go, the harder you will work. The internal processes are extremely poorly designed and the support organizations (IT and Finance, specifically) are full of complete clowns. The company is in the midst of financial turmoil, I would wait until things clarify before joining.

Pros

There really isn't a reason, the salary is fine depending on who you work for but not worth it for the amount of stress you have to deal with.

Cons

No clear direction from management. No one offers any help to each other to help employees in need unless they are required to by their management. Worst part is there is no option for employees to choose which project they would like to work, if they turn it down chances are they will be on the bench within 2 weeks and gone after that.
