Pros

Generally a very professional work force that is well educated and wants a challenging work environment. The amount of PTO is a distinct benefit when compared to other companies in the area.

Cons

Company still operates as a partnership and not a publically traded company. This results in a mentality of every MD for themselves.

Pros

Emerging Markets/Public Sector had some very very good people and projects. You have a chance to make a difference in the future of a number of countries.

Cons

1. Company problems drag down profit centers - no matter how well you do, the overhang kills you. 2. Senior management in Emerging Markets function as "order takers" from USAID; there is no drive to increase inside of donor markets. 3. Senior management inside of Emerging Markets are cheap - they would rather save ten cents on a nail than fix a broken board.
