Pros

It was a big company with name recognition within the industry.

Cons

When the bankruptcy process started, communication as expected was very limited and guarded. The whole process of splitting up the last remaining contracts took an arduously long time and we were often kept in the dark about what was actually happening. Questions and concerns piled up and it was generally not a very pleasant place to work during this time. However, my first two years before this were full of responsibility and new work opportunities. I do believe the upper management could've done a way better job of selling business services and furthering current contracts.

Pros

- Consulting projects with many of the Fortune 500 companies - Fellow "on the ground" consultant were a great group of people (intelligent, hardworking, fun to travel with) - You will learn a lot

Cons

- Senior SENIOR management has no idea what they're doing with the firm. More often than not, it seems as though our strategic plan is to "copy Accenture" yet we have yet to decipher what they're good at and how that could possibly translate to benefits for our organization - The promotion and bonus process is clandestine and down-right silly. You'll be told you're doing an excellent job by management, they'll tell you that you have earned an EE (Exceeds Expectations) or SE (Super Exceeds Expectations) but you will be rated as ME (Meets Expectations) because all EE's and SE's have to receive a certain bonus...which they really can't afford to give out.

Pros

Well, while the firm existed, they had a fairly good go-to-market strategy and were successful at winning work. They will be missed.

Cons

The firm was constantly having financial difficulities, which made bonus pay non-existent. They also had unstructured compensation bands and easy promotional policies. So, unqualified people had inflated job titles
