Pros

Opportunity to work on different engagements and learn different systems, although most engagements in financial services are short-term, often lasting only a few months.

Cons

No work-life balance, most partners have stay-at-home wives so no appreciation and accommodation for career women, lots of travel, lack of career growth.

Pros

competent people, collegial environment and fun working environment. Opportunities to volunteer for new projects and develop your career if you really work at it.

Cons

if you don't have a military background you can feel out of [lace. do not get rewarded for advanced degrees etc. and they try to lowball on salary in the beginning.

Pros

Friendly work environment that really helps one stay focused on the task at hand: getting a job once the company goes totally under.

Cons

Bankruptcy and other small problems with financial miscalculations, SOX compliance issues... not much in the way of a future here.
