Thanks for your feedback and we’re pleased that you found our people great to work with. I’m sorry that your experience at BearingPoint didn’t include as much training as you would have liked. All staff complete a minimum of 40 hours training per year and many staff complete training hours well in excess of that. In fact, in a consultant’s first few months with the company, each new hire attends BearingPoint School in Berlin for one week, a week that our people feel grows them both personally and professionally and where they have a lot of fun! In addition, we offer a wide array of training covering technical courses, personal development, on-the-job learning as well as an online portal that offers thousands of business and technical courses. The employment market in Dublin is buoyant indeed and while we never like to see our valued employees move on, we are proud that our staff turnover rates are very low, well below the industry average. Thanks again for your review and wishing you well in your career!

Pros

Healthy environement with reasonable stress, no internal competition, good human resources process to follow-up carrier and position of original big five (business consulting: mix of pure management consulting and information system capabilities)

Cons

Just the same as other consulting company: difficult balance between perso and professional Lack of international visibility and credibility (especially in France since we are coming 50% from PwC and Arthur Andersen !)
