- for a good while, there were too many juniors and few experts to actually learn good practices from
- this can either be a con or a pro, depending on each individual: at times, not enough time for programming and technical skills development, due to other less official responsibilities
- salaries for loyal, old employees are unfair, compared to new joiners (smaller)
