Pros

Best buy is a great stepping stone for anyone looking to get into a business related career, they teach a lot about target markets and market segmentation, along with peer groups and salesmanship.

Cons

Not many downsides about working at best buy. The only thing that comes to mind, due to young and usually inexperienced leadership is favoritism of friends as employees.

Cons

limited resources; there is little to no training even though there is a good program, there is not enough staff to ensure proper implementation

Pros

The sales positions are not commission based Pay is fair Great place to learn how to be an effective salesperson

Cons

Best buy is too strict on it's policies for being able to receive discounts as an employee. They are quick to release you for what they believe is fraud, when it comes to discounts without consulting with the employee or taking the time to properly investigate the situation.
