Pros

They offer a pretty good discount.

Cons

Like any other retail store, you have to deal with BS either from customers or managers. Workers get promoted based on how cool they are with managers, if they are sleeping with them, and finally, if they carry on the role and responsibility for the title they want before they actually get compensated for it. Meaning, you have to take the role of a supervisor and deal with all the crap for like 8 months or so before you even get the opportunity to JOS for the job and even then the title is not secure.

Pros

It was okay working there, they promote a lot from the inside which is cool. I started the same day as one of my friends making 8.75 but I only worked there for 7 months. He still works there two years later and got promoted to Install Supervisor and makes around $15 an hour now.

Cons

The bosses are overall lame and didn't give credit where it was due. They would only notice when something wasn't done right and then complain about that.

Pros

Varies from box to box but I would say the people. People come and go but I can honestly say the management is very involved. There are a lot of people who find their main concern to be the customers experience and this leads to a great operating model. When the customer centricity model is actually reached it is a great success but often is left on the wayside shortly after discussing the importance in order to reach monetary goals.

Cons

Paper thin margins do not lead to growth. It leads to pressure and turns customers away. We all know that BBY is a business and trying to make money. But marking up cables and junk is just going to lead the customers to buy the big tickets instore and the rest online.
