Pros

You learn a lot about business and technology. I came out a much better seller by learning the ins and outs of average sale price, units per transaction, customer centricity, close reate, NOP, price margins, etc. I learned a lot about many of the products they sell.

Cons

Hourly updates and questioning on sales performance. Lack of respect. Most managers never actually work in the position of a sales associate in their lives. I have no problem with changes. I think change is good. However, they were changing so much and so often, every week there was a new abbreviation or little slogan, or buzzword we had to remember and recite our knowledge of in our seemingly weekly district manager walks.
