Pros

I use to like working for best buy, but now it seems that all we are doing is pushing branded payments and worrying about services, services and more services. we dont have any fun at work anymore. Its tiring to get yelled out and there is never any recognition anymore. but i still like my benefits, but i am actively looking for other employment. i feel that we are losing more and more good sales associates and leaders and not holding store managers to the same levels of standards that are being demanded of us by those same incompetent managers!

Cons

discount is the only benefit

Pros

Flexible hours, work isn't hard just tiresome. They are really good about fitting work around school and all other activities. It is a great place to start working while in college or looking for good work experiance.

Cons

Customers are idiots. Advancement opportunities go to people that kiss ass, not the best performers. It was very discouraging when some smuck gets a promotin over you when you have a degree in Business Administartion and they are in "the right place at ther right time".
