Pros

Lots training, potential to have good managers, hourly rate for sales was higher then other similar job positions. Managers have lots of responsiblity (though many dont use well) If you get a good manager it can make for a very good experiance

Cons

Glass ceiling for sales floor employees, lack of recongition for sales effort. For advancement to manager, its kind of luck of the drawn. Manager expect long/late hours during holidays. Can really be a drag on the personal life

Pros

For the discount obviously and to build up a little resume to get the entry level portion out of my hairs.

Cons

Working @ bestbuy you have to be in a certain "click" AKA group and suck up to the managers to get promotions or the managers bring in their friends from other places and give them the job. Then they give them what they think they should be payed. working @ bestbuy for a year you see alot of boshit/politics. I understand politics are going to be everywhere but they are extremely severe @ bestbuy
