Pros

The employee discount was extremely good. Additionally the store is willing to hire people with no experience making it a good place to have your first job.

Cons

The managers and supervisors were often incompetent or clueless. The scheduling was extremely inflexible especially concerning matters such as school or religious events. Finally, some supervisors promoted extremely unethical business practic.es in an attempt to sell products. When questioned, supervisors responded that it was the nature of the business

Pros

I think that Best Buy can become a great career path for some. I know several people that have a great career out of Best Buy. You can start as a part time associate and make to divisional level in a matter of years. You meet some really extraordinary people. You recieve great training. And you can sleep well knowing that Best Buy is doing well in the bank ammidst other retailers that are not doing so well. You can get a very strong base, as every associate gets taught the basics of business. After leaving Best Buy, you could probably own your own business.

Cons

Your life becomes the box. You can easlily loose focus of your goals if you are not careful.
