Pros

Best Buy is a company that trains their employees very well. Everyone, including part-time employees understand where the company stands financially everyday and also learn business acumen. There is a lot of room for growth. Many people work themselves up from part-time employees to managers and even district managers.

Cons

The work is not hard but it can be stressful at times with specific budgets that must be met everyday. The managers have very specific things that must be taught out which they get passed down from their district managers. There is always a new company objective, so this job is for a person that handles change very well.

Pros

Employee Discount, tuition reimbursement, desperation.

Cons

The customers are hostile at times and yell at line-levels who have no real say and are only following policy. Best Buy does not train employees to, well, not piss customers off. Store management at times can be very corrupt, with managers covering up for other managers who are stealing.
