Pros

While the pay may not be the best in the industry, Best Buy offers benefits that other companies simply can't compete with like product discount (cost plus 5%), stock options, 401k, health benefits, and vendor accommodations.

Cons

Retail positions are always stressful because sometimes the business is going to do great and sometimes it's not, and everyone takes the down times personally which can be very hard to get used to. Also, there can be a high level of drama in the store which can't always be avoided.

Pros

Looks pretty good on resume because the company is so widely recognized.

Cons

Really awful management, they really need to listen to employees when they make complaints about management.

Pros

You'll meet and work with great people within your department. It really is a team environment.

Cons

Management doesn't seem to know what they want. One minute they'll ask you to meet certain criteria and the next minute they'll punish you for meeting the same criteria they just asked you to complete.
