Pros

Relatively okay salary for my education, flexible work hours, fast paced environment, plenty of learning experiences, frequent team-building exercises and events.

Cons

Exploited my knowledge without just compensation, hired me for one job but gave me the bait-and-switch for a part-time job, and absolutely no advancement opportunities in 3 years. Regularly took me away from my job to help other departments and reprimanded me when my job couldn't be done.

On-site fitness center, excellent company cafeteria with healthy foods, cool architecture and landscaping at HQ.

Cons

Many software projects are led by Best Buy employees who have zero software knowledge or experience, and this leads to incompetent decisions and frustration for people who actually know what they are doing. Their marketing is also archaic, and even though many of the employees think they have "innovative" ideas, if they would just do a few minutes of research on Google, they'd find out that they're actually doing things that savvy competitors did about 10 years ago!!

Cons

Career development is frequently neglected. Career paths are not clearly defined. Slow growth has led to scarce internal opportunities. Previous work experience is often under valued. Difficult to obtain tools needed to perform job properly.
