Pros

Hard to think if anything at this point. I will say discounts are good on small ticket items.

Cons

I am a previous employee who left on my own. This group has serious issues. More than half this team has quit within two months. The remainder are looking for new opportunities. Terrible management with no support. Processes change everyday. Extreme favoritism, advancing only the people who are part of the "In Crowd" who are not qualified. No concern at all that all the people with any knowledge are leaving No training provided, took away the only good thing and that is working from home. No raises for previous or future year. Bonus requirements changed making it to difficult to meet. Why hasn't HR and upper management started to question why everyone is leaving. I just can't encourage anyone thing about accepting these jobs to keep looking.

Pros

Exciting, desired employer, great online retailer, moves quickly to respond to the marketplace

Cons

With the new CEO, Hubert Jolly, taking the reigns, the name dropping started - Hubert is very hands on, and we had to run emergency, frenzied campaigns, simply because "Hubert wants..." Not very planful.

Pros

Working in the Asset Protection department is pretty easy. You basically greet customers as they come in and check receipts as they go out. You also have a small monitor that you view to watch customers and/or employees throughout the store to make sure they are not stealing. You get a discount after 30 days. Some items receive a bigger discount than others. It just depends on what you are buying, but nonetheless you most likely are going to save some money.

Cons

The most boring job ever if your store is not busy. You basically stand in one spot for your entire shift, and for the most part that is 6-8 hours STANDING not leaning looking at a 13 inch monitor. You are not allowed to leave the A.P station at all. If you have to go to the bathroom or take a break you have to ask someone to cover for you. You will encounter some of the rudest people ever! If you greet 100 people on your shift, please believe 40 of them won't even acknowledge your presence. The pay is not great at all. Yes, it's a pretty simple job, so expect to be paid like it. The hardest part is standing on your feet for hours in one spot, not being able to walk and/or move around and tolerating rude customers treating you like the lowest man on the totem pole, because that's how you feel sometimes.
