Pros

+ Extensive training, very stiff learning curve, you're here to acquire techincal skills in finance, tech, coding, excel, sales etc and utilize them asap + Company culture is really really good. Extensive effort on diversity and inclusion. You finish work at 6PM unless you're in training, which happens to be 2 - 3 months in your first year at the company (many ppl who worked in finance before don't study over-time btw) + Fast career progression, after 12 months you are usually headed to sales, or advanced analytics, data, enterprise etc. Migrating across departments is common and acceptable, as long as business needs are there. + HR is extremely reactive when flagging any people-related issues. They don't fire under-performers but they will fire you should you say the N-Word to a colleague in the elevator. + The pay is competitive + Management usually supports you. I am personally blessed with a very good team leader. Some are dissatisfied with their TL, it's often case by case but the consensus is usually positive as of end of 2023. + "Rewards" are actual rewards. If you finish first in a sales call competition, they do give you half a day off for example, not a dumb stress ball with 'Bloomberg' written on it or free pizza.

Cons

- Every 'Sales and Analyitcs' review here highlights it: it's extremely micro-managed. Your every move is watched and evaluated. Nothing is ever enough. You need to put a fair amount of distance between you and your job, as management will never be fully satisfied with whatever you produce. - It is extremely corporate and politics are everything, like in any major financial/tech institution out there. Be aware you'll have to play that 'corporate' game should you start working for Bloomberg. Networking is not compulsory but is key to career progression. Introverts beware.
