Cons

Every employee receives a hard bound copy of Mike Bloomberg’s autobiography on their first day. Weird to say the least. There is zero attrition and very little flexibility on compensation, meaning that the good people leave and the useless people remain. Bloomberg has a lot of useless people.

None I can think of other than a good travel policy.

Cons

Pay level is comparable to similar companies. No flexibility. Full office / no or little hybrid work. Woke nest. Only people in DEI categories or explicitly supporting DEI programs make career progresses.

Relatively high salaries and good benefits. Nice office in London. Big brand, easy to sell to clients. International officers, you may be able to transfer and experience working in HK, Tokyo, NY or London

Cons

Bad for work-life balance, 4 days in the office and long hours - 8am to 6pm. No flexibility, no real career progression opportunities, very flat structure. It has a very corporate, investment bank culture, high pressure environment. Micro-management is wide spread
