Good salary and benefits. Lots of free coffee and snacks.

Cons

Toxic elements and tons of middle managers. Be very careful joining. Ultimately, I regret taking the position despite the higher pay. Lots of blame culture, gatekeeping by long time employees, superfluous middle manager and micromanagement.

Cannot think of any right now. Maybe the pantry snacks and proximity to BI to learn from. BNEF sits near BI. The ability to put Bloomberg on the resume.

Cons

Management are a joke. The entire company is a joke. BNEF as a whole is just a joke. Our product isn't good. Our CEO Jon Moore is extremely... unintelligent. The managers who have been there for a while, genuinely believe they are God. They have convinced themselves they are truly changing the world and helping climate change - they are not. I am currently there, and over 10+ analysts/associates I have spoken to, are applying for other roles and trying to get out because they hate it. Scrap BNEF. Scrap everything about it. Salaries are also hilarious. Someone with 5+ years of experience in the UK office is paid the equivalent of $68,000. The US office is slightly better, where salaries are around $85,000 if you are lucky.

Working with legacy systems that management has no plans to improve or update. Proprietary front end system that is the worst code base I've ever seen. "On Call" duties outside of work hours are common.
