Pros

Mission-Driven Culture: BCG genuinely lives its values, guiding every business decision with integrity and purpose. This mission-driven approach fosters a collaborative and inspiring work environment. Impactful Work: Working with the best companies to solve their toughest problems provides a sense of accomplishment and pride. The projects are challenging yet rewarding, allowing you to make a significant impact. Authenticity and Inclusivity: BCG promotes an environment where everyone can bring their authentic selves to work. Diversity and inclusion are not just buzzwords here; they are ingrained in the company's DNA. Continuous Learning and Growth: The opportunities for professional development are unparalleled. BCG invests heavily in training and mentorship, ensuring you are always learning and growing. Supportive Environment: The collaborative culture means you are never alone. Colleagues are supportive, and there is a strong sense of community and teamwork.

Cons

Long Work Hours: Like all top-tier consulting firms, the work hours can be demanding. This is the nature of the industry, but it's something to be mindful of. High Expectations: The bar is set very high at BCG. While this drives excellence, it can also lead to stress and anxiety, particularly with the up-or-out model. Geographic Operating Model: The current office and geographic-based P&L structure can drive inefficiencies and limit employee mobility.

Driven by greed, insecurities and exploitation

Pros

High pay and good benefits Some people actually believe in values

Cons

Driven by greed and insecurities of MDP team: Money comes first. Always. Values forgotten. Quality of people deteriorated significantly over the years: greed led to quantity over quality. Very unsustainable work environment: people on this ship are too busy fighting the storms to think about where the ship is heading. "Fast fashion" type of expertise - shallow quality and resulting in lots of wasted resources (people). BST is not looked down upon, it's not looked at, at all, unless something is needed.

Pros

You will love the good benefits,

Cons

management is terrible, will definitely set you up for failure. You will have great 1 on 1s and behind your back talk trash about you. Its like a big high school. Also its barley any training.
