Pros
I've been working at BCG for nearly 10 years , and I can confidently say it's been an incredibly rewarding experience -- and was certainly the best decision for me exiting business school.
We say it all the time that people are the core reason to join and stay at BCG -- and I fully believe that's true. The company culture is genuinely positive, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, innovation, and personal growth. The reason I stay at BCG is definitely because of the strong relationships I have built at all levels.
The projects we work on are challenging and exciting, and I really think that I am working at the cutting edge of my topic and delivering value to some of the most impactful organizations.
The benefits package far exceeds what I see the majority of my peers making, and the office perks make the workday enjoyable.
Cons
The one very known downside of BCG (which I believe is true of all consulting firms) is the worklife balance. But I do think this is very top of mind for BCG leadership and we work every year to try to improve.
