Great place to launch career

Pros

Steep learning curve - quickly build skills in problem solving, executive communications, stakeholder management. People are kind, respectful and humble, as well as super smart and driven

Cons

Inherent client service challenges - travel, fast pace, fire drills, etc. BCG takes some steps to manage. It is very challenging to make this career work if part of a dual career couple with kids. Reputation is key to success here. It gets set early and can be hard to change perception down the line.
