Pros

Good work environment in a very interesting industry, working for a Company that has been established a long time. Fairly rewarded in salary terms for work required to be undertaken. One of the few large Companies to have a Final Salary Pension scheme, but no longer open to new Employee's. Good benefits offered ( staff discount and travel concessions ).

Cons

The poor calibre of some B.A Middle Manager's, who command high salaries but either won't make timely decision's, or won't accept responsibility when things go wrong, or pass the buck to subordinates expecting them to resolve operational issues.

This role has a tremendous amount of autonomy and lots of travel worldwide.

Cons

salary and benefits have taken a downturn as BA continues to take people out of the business.
