Pros

An inclusive and diverse working environment. On the job training available. Fair leave entitlements. Hugely committed and inspirational employees.

Cons

Highly complex decision making structures means there are layers of approval and little accountability. Low levels of pay in comparison to roles in similar organisations. Seriously lacking a professional HR function. Systems and processes are somewhat antiquated. Huge amount of change programming has “sucked the life” from committed and passionate employees with many talented ones leaving.

Pros

Medical insurance coverage is top notch

Cons

Orgsnisation has been slowly cost cutting before the pandemic. When Covid 19 hit , they suddenly have the perfect excuse to let people go and did not pay any retrenchment package. Management handled layoffs poorly - no care, compassion or respect. While most are getting laid off though, there are one or few select that have been getting salary increments!
