Run by engineers, healthy percent of profit directed back to R&D, founders involved day to day operation, wonderful family day, amazing yearly technical conference. Engineers feel like hero's.

Cons

Remote sites treated like second class citizens. Huge concern about future under Avago - all the Pros in this review are in jeopardy.

Poor management from top, not much visibility into strategy. Performance metrics are quantitative rather than qualitative. Company is top heavy; difficult for new employees to grow.

Good place to work. Work time is flexible. Lots of opportunity/jobs to do if willing. good ESPP, health plan, but 401k match is not.

Cons

Benefits gradually reducing over the year. Stock based compensation is decreasing while base salary is not matching. Going to be acquired by AVGO which is pretty bad in review.
