Get to work on interesting and current technology.

Cons

Garage shop atmosphere. Bad internal communication. Long hours. Average pay compensation and benefits. No Profit sharing. Stock options worthless and not re-adjusted like other companies did.

Pros

Projects are interesting and you get to help develop cutting edge technologies. Everyone working on the projects really knows their stuff and come from many different backgrounds which provides opportunities to work with all sorts of interesting people. It's a large corporation and has the ups and downs of one such as great benefits but also has a high amount of segregation between levels. The majority of the employees are engineers, a lot more than similar companies. Shared offices are better than cubicles.

Cons

The pay was decent but now it's no longer good. All sorts of new technologies and products are being created but it feels as if it has no impact on how well the company is doing. I feel as if I have no opportunity for growth or promotion. Work load will fluctuate between extreme highs and lows. No more free drinks, subsidized foods or free lunches.

Cons

long working hours; not much visibility from upper management; benefits keep getting cut back year-over-year because of crazy hiring in wireless division but no real revenue seen yet; stock price is going nowhere.
