The list can take 10 pages but I can summarize in a few lines....they just port the same circuits since 10 years and they do not know even the reason (except we always did this way kinda of answer). Plus they do not like thinking people (considered trouble makers)...they prefer button pushers (just do it you are not paid to think). If you have a good Ph.D. it is a total waste of your time and talent being in BRCM

Lots to learn and with the best communication engineers in the world. The product portfolio is wide and allows engineers to propose different ideas for next generation products.

Cons

1. Large company 2. Maybe hard to get promoted 3. Salary increase is slow 4. Vacation is decided by managers

Interview structure has to change. Participated in interviewing candidates. Many times had to let go deserving candidates. Someone will be sneaking in a candidate ! Got tired of that ..
