Avery aggressive company, you need to work hard and learn fast. Professional skills grows fast. Health insurance is good.

Cons

salary is not as good as before when Broadcom is still a start-up. Compare to the work load, it is below average of the industry.

It is sometimes possible to publish the work done in the company, which is good if you reconsider academic positions. The designers' quality is pretty good.

Cons

Should give some awards, even small, to officially praise employee' excellent work in the company. The employees need some sort of advertisement.

Great place to work for engineers. Opportunities to work on great products with smart people. Thin on other functions but great opportunities for SG&A folks to advance as well. Generally strong leadership team. Blend of small company culture with large company resources. Global footprint.

Cons

Staffing in some areas is thin, and some managers should go back to being engineers. Infrastructure needs to keep up with company growth.
