Pros

1. Overall CTC (Pay) is good (due to RSUs and ESPP option) 2. RSUs are unparalleled and are vested every 3 months 3. Highly rated Tech professionals to work with and around. Great place for learning if you can put efforts in learning and socializing accordingly

Cons

1. HR is for namesake .. Company policies are highly non employee-friendly 2. Promotions are rare and you need to pull of magics to move to next level or a decade of service may be (even for lower engineering roles) 3. Work Culture is bad as per Industry standard. No Events or any kind of Team Activities. It is all work and work. 4. Base pay is not at par to Industry Standard. Very less in-fact 5. Time flexibility you can avail, but the amount of work anyway will lead you to spending more than industry average hours

Pros

- Good amount of Company Shares are given to all Employees that adds a lot of benefits, like seriously a lot. - You get to meet people of many talents and hence you learn a lot. - Learning new Freeware Technologies.

Cons

- No hikes or bonus is given for good performance. - Company has made mandatory for Employees to come to office during COVID-19 pandemic, while most of the companies are looking for Employee Safety. - Company was accusing Employees for increasing COVID cases in office campus, although it is obvious that COVID cases will increase if people come to office in pandemic. - Managers have their favorites from North India Region, who they appreciate even though their work quality is lesser.. - Managers do not appreciate rightful Employees - Managers make Employees work for 16 + hrs , weekends, holidays to get the work done. Reason: They over commit deadline to upper management - Manager always create fear amongst Employees that Broadcom will fire anytime. This gives managers an upper hand to make us work even more than expected. - Broadcom fires 300-500 Employees every year. They have no value for Employees. - Company does not have clarity of thoughts for their own product. They don't care about where they are going.

Pros

-No mandatory overtime -Workers set the work speed generally -Long breaks/many breaks

Cons

-No advancement (would rather hire from outside the company than promote within) -Direct management are glorified time keepers with no real power but still try to throw their weight around. - Upper management has no clue how the Fab is ran or how to run one and that has become more and more apparent as the years have passed -Upper management spreads rumors, outright lies during meetings and purposely turns shifts on one another creating a very hostile work environment -Absolutely no appreciation for workers other than small bonuses which are dangled in front of us and often forfeited due to, "the economy, the state of the semiconductor market, China tariffs, Covid19." There is always an excuse. -Raises have fallen drastically each year since this location was acquired by Broadcom, until finally no raises were given this year. This is rumored to be the norm with promises of "bigger bonuses."
