* High salaries. * Profitable company.

Cons

* CEO is authoritarian, old-school, and narrow-minded. * They dismantled in weeks the hard work VMware had made for decades regarding diversity, inclusion, equity, and employees' well-being. * VMware was the best 7th place to work on Glassdoor, and Broadcom took away all what made that culture possible!

Ok base salary and great stocks/bonus Work colleagues are very supportive

Cons

Politics within the management chain means unattainable deadlines are initially set and then a game of poker is played as to who takes the blame for project schedules shifting. CEO is actively monitoring office attendance, no working from home allowed unless it is a weekend/Bank holiday or the evening. Teams lurch between waiting ages for marketing to signoff on projects to having far too many active projects in one go.

You can not predict your tomorrow. You will close your day with lots of thoughts for tomorrow. But you never know when you reach office HR would call you for a meeting and say this is your last moth to work here.
