Pros

Broadcom Limited really is a new company. It bears little resemblance to the old Broadcom Corp. Pro if you hated the old Broadcom? Broadcom Ltd is better you're in engineering and enjoy "fighting for your job" (words from the CEO) every few months. Terrible if you're not an engineer (e.g. G&A) because you're doing 4x the work with probably a pay cut. Sadly, despite all the fighting and bodies being thrown under the bus, it's not like you have the potential financial upside anywhere like working at other companies.

Cons

Every 6 MONTHS or so, there's probably a new acquisition. It doesn't matter that you're the acquiring company, your job may be cut at that time because that's when you're fighting for your job again. As a result, coworkers may become aggressive, territorial and will not hesitate to throw you under the bus to save their own hide. Keep this in mind when you're reading reviews pre-2016. Better yet, you should really search for Avago and read about that company instead.
