Pros

Brocade has good networking products and its salaries are competitive and bonuses are especially generous. Many of the employees are great to work with and very knowledgeable.

Cons

Brocade is definitely not a place where one comes to grow their career. Promotions seem to be virtually nonexistent. I have seen people stay at the same level for 7+ years. I guess that what a competitive salary and a good bonus does - makes one stagnant. Brocade seems to be caught up in endless process and meeting morass.

lot of scope to learn new technologies and good work. Good competition amoung co workers good bonus and salaries at brocade.

Cons

lot of politics with the upper management. They don't give opportunity for work-life balance Expect to work on the weekend and long hours

I no longer get a sense that the leadership of this company knows with conviction where Brocade is going. There is some obvious damage control cheer leading going on now in response to last year's failure to successfully court HP. A recently trimmed benefits package came several months after Forbes compiled their "Best Companies to Work For" survey. Lack of opportunity to advance or transition
